Guest play and device storage
You can play without signing in. The game stores progress, settings, a previous save, and recovery copies in your browser’s local storage. Temporary browser storage may also hold an unfinished guild-card draft. This storage is used to run and save the game, not to track you across other websites.
Device saves belong to the browser and website address you used. Private browsing, clearing site data, changing browsers, or losing a device can remove access to them. Export a save in Settings for a separate copy you control. Updates keep the same save format and storage key.
Optional accounts and cloud storage
When you choose Connect with ChatGPT, the hosting service handles sign-in. MadeGuild receives an account identifier and authenticated email header; the game uses the identifier to separate accounts and does not store the email address or your password in its game database.
If you save a guild card, we store your chosen handle, display name, forge name, bio, crest, theme, sharing choice and featured weapon identifier. When you enable cloud backups, we store your game progress and settings with save timestamps and version numbers. Cloud backups run about every 30 seconds during active play after you choose a continuing save for that visit. Up to five earlier recovery copies are retained.
What is public
Your card starts private. If you enable sharing, anyone with its link can view the card, lifetime shard total, forged weapon count, legacy count, discovered achievements and featured weapon from your cloud save. Do not put contact details or other sensitive information in your card. Account identifiers, authentication details and full save files are not included in public cards.
Control your data
Open Guild Card to change your profile, turn off sharing, download cloud recovery copies, disconnect your account, or delete your guild card and cloud saves. Deletion removes those records and recovery copies from the game’s active database. It does not delete your ChatGPT account or device save. Hosting providers may retain operational backups under their own retention practices.
Export or reset device progress in Settings. Clearing this site’s browser storage removes local recovery copies too. Cloud backups pause when you import or reset; choose a save again to resume. Another device’s changes cause a conflict prompt instead of silently replacing that save.
Support, advertising and hosting
The coffee button is an ordinary link to Buy Me a Coffee. No payment information is collected by the game; that service handles any contributions under its own terms and privacy policy. This release does not load advertising or analytics scripts. If advertising is enabled later, this page and any necessary privacy choices will be updated first.
The hosting and authentication providers process network and technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, which can include IP addresses and request logs. The game does not request your home address or precise location.
